THE LADY OF THE SEA
An impressive sculpture, designed by Manolo Valdès, to be discovered in Biarritz.
As you cross the traffic circle leading to Biarritz Océan and the two structures that make up the Biarritz Aquarium and Cité de l'Océan, you can't remain indifferent to the impressive 10-metre-high sculpture: La Dame de la Mer. "La Dame de la Mer" unfurls the waves of its impressive aluminum hair, marking the arrival on the site with force. Designed by Spanish artist Manolo Valdès, best known for his Meninas inspired by those of Velázquez, who draws his inspiration from Picasso and Matisse.
