This iconic festival has been held every year at the end of January for 50 years. For four days, the city welcomes the world's greatest comic book artists and scriptwriters, as well as tens of thousands of fans. The National Comic Strip Center (CNBDI) symbolizes this dynamic also carried by Magélis-Pôle Image, the economic development program based on industries, technologies and trades of the image.

The Thursday evenings of summer in Niort are spent in music, with friends or family, in the gardens of the Moulin du Roc, discovering the musicians in the making. It is a great opportunity to discover part of the heritage of Corrèze (theatres, abbeys, churches, castles...), from Brive to Turenne via Donzenac and Uzerche, among others. And for this 40th year, the festival has some melodious surprises in store for you!

Touskiflot is both a sporting and a festive event! On the Gave de Pau, the craziest boats offer up a mythical race! The most incredible, handcrafted rafts battle it out in a non-stop, good-humored battle. Between 3 and 7 people put on the show, with participants showing off their inventive rafts and disguises. Between Pont d'Espagne and Laroin, the crew have a field day! For the public, it's two days of festivities with entertainment, meals... The whole weekend's fun! Sunday's race remains the highlight of the event initiated by the Léo Lagrange center.

In the heart of Collonges la Rouge, a cultural rendezvous that has been an inescapable cultural event since 1991.

After Paris Beach, Niort Beach starts at summer time. Since 2006, the municipal sports service, the tourist office, the agglomeration community and the Niortaises associations have been mobilizing all summer to animate the Pre Leroy. Sports, cultural and leisure activities are open to all, children, adolescents and adults. They are also proposed to children of leisure centres on reserved slots. To choose: archery, bicross, beach volleyball, sandball, trampoline, taekwondo, fencing and acrobatic parcours through the poplar and chestnut trees of the park… and as any good beach that respects: it's free!

Over the years, the Brive Book Fair has become a not-to-be-missed event with around a hundred literary encounters. The event welcomes over 400 authors and illustrators of general literature, children's literature and comics. The Brive Book Fair is organized by the City of Brive, with the help of partner booksellers, faithful private partners, the support of the Centre national du livre, the Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the Département de la Corrèze and numerous media.

The association Romances à Dienné was created in 2021 and organizes, in collaboration with the town hall, the literary fair dedicated to all types of romances. The fair lasts 2 days and welcomes about a hundred authors, local, national and international, as well as 9 publishing houses. During this event, you can meet your favorite authors and discover new ones. You will also attend round table conferences and readings by authors. Julie Dauge, author and president of the association, makes it a point of honor to collaborate with several local actors, in order to make this festival even more beautiful. The pupils of the school of the commune work all year long to make bookmarks, the association of floral art takes care of all the decoration of the commune for the event and the committee of associations is in charge of the restoration on the spot. A free shuttle is also available for authors and visitors to reach the fair from the Poitiers train station. A fair where the key words are meetings, discoveries and exchanges!
