Touskiflot is both a sporting and a festive event! On the Gave de Pau, the craziest boats offer up a mythical race! The most incredible, handcrafted rafts battle it out in a non-stop, good-humored battle. Between 3 and 7 people put on the show, with participants showing off their inventive rafts and disguises. Between Pont d'Espagne and Laroin, the crew have a field day! For the public, it's two days of festivities with entertainment, meals... The whole weekend's fun! Sunday's race remains the highlight of the event initiated by the Léo Lagrange center.

As December 25 approaches, while the magic of Christmas bewitches young and old and the old bearded man is busy finishing the beautiful toys, a red and white horde surges through the Sancto-Benedictine streets. The minimum age required for the runners is 15 years. One hour before the start of the adult loop (7.5 km), the Course des Lutins allows children from 6 to 13 years old to take part in the event for one kilometer.

This run, which can also be done as a fast walk, is reserved for women. It's an event that celebrates solidarity, women's emancipation and the promotion of health. Every year, thousands of women gather in the streets of Pau to run together. The 6 km course winds through the city in a friendly atmosphere, with the aim of raising funds for local charities (breast cancer, domestic violence, etc.). In addition, the Foulée des Enfants is a 900 m course for budding runners. Whether you're an individual, a student or a corporate challenge, this is the place to be.

Every year in Biarritz, harnessed and mounted trotting races take place throughout July from 8pm on a renovated 803 m sand track with right-hand rope. The meeting comprises 13 evenings, culminating in the Grand Prix de la Ville organized by the Société des Courses au Trot de Biarritz, chaired by C. Hassenforder-Chabriac. Each evening, races take place between 8.10pm and 11.30pm. The racecourse opens at 7pm, and the pari-mutuel betting windows open at 7:45pm.
