This iconic festival has been held every year at the end of January for 50 years. For four days, the city welcomes the world's greatest comic book artists and scriptwriters, as well as tens of thousands of fans. A festival for classical music lovers in sumptuous settings whose opening concert takes place at the end of May at the Château de Saillant! Opera, chamber music..... many styles and periods are offered every year. Also noteworthy is a concert for young audiences. It is a great opportunity to discover part of the heritage of Corrèze (theatres, abbeys, churches, castles...), from Brive to Turenne via Donzenac and Uzerche, among others. In the heart of Collonges la Rouge, a cultural rendezvous that has been an inescapable cultural event since 1991.

Over the years, the Brive Book Fair has become a not-to-be-missed event with around a hundred literary encounters. The event welcomes over 400 authors and illustrators of general literature, children's literature and comics. The Brive Book Fair is organized by the City of Brive, with the help of partner booksellers, faithful private partners, the support of the Centre national du livre, the Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the Département de la Corrèze and numerous media.

It's a tradition. Every summer, Agen celebrates the theatre. The Agen Theatre Festival is a series of shows presented outdoors, in an old cloister where the acoustics are excellent, for both young and old.

Dominique Besnehard, together with Marie-France Brière and Jean Mardikian, has created a warm, human-sized event that takes place every year at the end of August, where the stars of the big screen come to enjoy the mild climate and the activity of the streets of Angoulême. Ideal for meeting stars in all simplicity and celebrating the French-speaking world of the seventh art, this festival mixes styles: drama, comedy, films for all audiences and open-air screenings, animation, everyone will find what they are looking for.

Every odd-numbered year, clowns from around the world gather in Niort for just over a month. You can visit them at home in their village of Duguesclin, then keep an eye on the program between the Niort festival and the caravan that will be criss-crossing the département.
