BANDAFOLIE'S, a not-to-be-missed cultural event in Bessines-sur-Gartempe, has been celebrating music and sharing with brio for 25 years. Thanks to the commitment of 220 volunteers, a dozen international groups enliven this popular summer festival every year, usually during the week of July 14th. In July 2022, over 40,000 festival-goers vibrated to the rhythm of Bandafolie's, testifying to the growing popularity of this warm and friendly event marked by sharing and a memorable popular atmosphere. For music lovers, Bandafolie's is an event not to be missed.

As its name suggests, the Graines de rue festival showcases the street arts, especially young artists from the Limousin region and beyond. Make some noise, it's growing! Over 4 days, from Thursday to Sunday, young talent and young companies are on the program, aimed at young people and the general public, as well as professionals. Opening up the stage to the general public, between sharing, laughter, entertainment and freedom. The ^26th edition of the festival will be full of new discoveries and fun for all the family!

This is a race whose reputation is no longer to be done in Limousin. Gendarmes and time thieves attract a large and good child every year, made up of talented athletes, but also groups of friends and family. For on two days there are for all cocks! For experts, the trail: the large (58 km), the gendarmes and thieves (32 km) and the discovery (10 km). But also a special 5 km free-turn women and trails for chicks, benjamins and minimal.

A 22nd edition for this festival organized by Words of Storytellers. 7 intensive days for more than 70 rendez-vous in the beautiful lawns of the island of Vassivière (not far from the castle and the farm) turn into a fairy village. Colourful, colourful capitals invite us to a joyful and lively imagination. Time is also provided for professionals and internships. 

If you love plants and flowers, you shouldn't miss the Floralies organised in the spring, the weekend after 8 May: a splendour! The already rich heritage of the village is magnified by the floral decorations and the stands of the nurserymen. Every year, for more than 30 years, the village has organised this spring event which attracts about sixty exhibitors and thousands of visitors, enthusiasts from all over. Your eyes will thank you for the detour.

As each year, the national water ice sculpture competition creates the event in Andernos-les-Bains. First of the competitions, demonstration of ice sculptures by professionals and the best workers in France, as well as by amateurs. The time for a weekend, raise your eyes to the sky and watch stealing a thousand colors during the kite festival in Hourtin Plage. A big event animated by numerous manufacturing activities and demonstrations organized by the Association des amis d 'Hourtin Plage, with the participation of the Sporting and Cultural Union of Hourtin and the traders of Hourtin Plage.

This is the meeting of lovers of good love. They come both to scrutinize the know-how of our craftsmen, to find the right products, but also (and perhaps above all) to taste everything. Wines to marry with cheese and breads, regional specialities in AOC, cold meats, exhibitions, bandas animation, carnival, this is an opportunity to indulge in every sense of the word. The Louis Davis house in Andernos-les-Bains, the artistic exhibition place, welcomes the autumn exhibition in September. This event is an opportunity to discover an artist from either here or beyond. After having worked for nearly 20 years with teenagers and having directed musical comedy shows, Valérie Saint Clair created this company specializing in event entertainment. Birthdays, musical shows, for Christmas or Halloween, this passionate person proposes varied and quality services. Balloon decoration or sculpture, artistic make-up, creative workshops, temporary tattoos... many animations are available so that your event is successful. Valerie adapts to each request.

The history of the Deux-Sèvres region has been marked by motor sports, of which Bressuire was one of the great strongholds. Mayor Alain Métayer, president of the automobile club, founded a famous urban circuit there in 1951, which was abandoned in 1955 after the 24 hours of Le Mans accident. A few heirs of the great era took up the torch 16 years ago in the form of a vintage car-motorcycle rally and other customized machines. The grand prix takes place in the city, with trials, a night race, a parade and a prize-giving ceremony.

The Communauté de Communes du Réolais en Sud Gironde, together with several associations, is organizing a sporting and solidarity event on May 5, 2024. The 2nd edition of Coeurs en Réolais once again offers you the chance to get involved in the "parcours du coeur" by taking part in the walking, mountain biking and running loops (without competition or ranking). The routes will take you through Saint-Sève, Roquebrune and Saint-Hilaire-de-la-Noaille, allowing you to rediscover the region. Disguises recommended! This festival dedicated to Spanish culture, especially to cinema (films in original version with or without subtitles), has made its place in the sun in Dordogne. If the 7th art remains the star, literary meetings, concerts and exhibitions have enriched the festival over the years with a program of music, readings and tastings with film-paella evenings. Organized around José Santos-Dusser, it federates associations and enthusiasts who enjoy meeting " para hablar espanol" around this cultural highlight with Spanish colors.

Like champagne bubbles in crystal glass, colorful balloons slide into the Ciel sky. It is the rendezvous of dozens of balloons coming to compete for four days for the European Cup, which is only taking place in odd years. 2009 is the 16 th edition and the 20 th World Women's Cup.

Attend the world's largest robotics and artificial intelligence competition, from July 4 to 10, 2023 at the Bordeaux Exhibition Center (July 6 to 9, 2023 for the general public). The RoboCup was initiated in 1996 by Hiroaki Kitano to stimulate research in robotics, in particular to develop a team of fully autonomous robots capable of defeating the human team, the world soccer champion. Today, the event covers all major scientific and technological issues.

Tattooing and its world are the focus of this artistic festival in Le Lardin. Organized by Arts et Créations, a designer concept-store in Rouffignac-de-Saint-Cernin, and by Ti-Tio Tatoo, a tattoo and piercing salon in Terrasson, in aid of the Roulez Jeunesse association, this event invites tattooed and non-tattooed people alike to come together for a festive, musical and joyful atmosphere on the first weekend in June. Local artisans and their creations will be in the spotlight, along with refreshments, a food truck and children's entertainment.

The Place des Cinq Cantons continues to be a great success, as it is transformed to welcome some thirty artisans. Like every year, the heart of the market will beat to the rhythm of the German village, where visitors will find, in a typical atmosphere, the gastronomic specialities and traditional products of Ansbach, Anglet's twin town in Bavaria. An event not to be missed, with plenty of gift ideas, entertainment, fairy-tale decorations and illuminations...

Bordeaux is a dynamic and cultural city, offering a wide range of activities to suit all tastes. Art lovers can visit the new exhibitions at the Musée des Beaux-Arts, which offers an original approach to sculpture. History buffs can discover Château Pape Clément, an exceptional Grand Cru with a singular history. For music lovers, the Bordeaux Open Air festival returns this summer for its sixth edition. Nature lovers can enjoy Ocean Days on the Promenade Sainte-Catherine, in collaboration with a Bordeaux-based company. Families will also be delighted by the "Fête à Calixte" village festival in the city center. Finally, gourmets can enjoy delicious smash burgers at Smash Smash, or take a sweet break at one of the city's best spots. Bordeaux offers a multitude of activities to satisfy all visitors, whether in terms of culture, gastronomy or entertainment.

To close the summer season, Marmande is planning a major gourmet celebration around its red star. The former Tomato Fiesta, now known as the Fêtes de Marmande, returns to its roots! On the menu: two lively days with a large farmers' market, cooking competitions and gourmet stands featuring tomatoes in all their forms. Of course, this festival also involves the Confrérie de la Tomate de Marmande, a PGI tomato with a new label. The knights of the Confrérie de Tomate de Marmande will be inducted into the order, as is only fitting.

Formerly the Grand Pruneau Show, Les Fêtes d'Agen invites locals and visitors alike to enjoy festive, cultural and gourmet events in a convivial atmosphere. There's a farmers' market, food stalls and refreshment stands in the city streets, as well as entertainment. And on the podium in 2024, headliners include Pascal Obisto and Olivia Ruiz. Concerts are free of charge, as are all the street art shows staged in the city center during the Fêtes. A great opportunity to take a trip to Agen!

What sporting event mobilizes the crowds along the roads every summer? The Grande Boucle, of course, now in its ^111th year. The Tour de France last visited Lot-et-Garonne in 2017. The 2024 route includes 2 stages in the département. Thursday, July 11, will start in Aurillac and finish in Villeneuve-sur-Lot. The following day, the riders will set off again from Agen towards Pau. A great moment of popular jubilation ahead, with a sports village and Tour caravan.

The "DÉCASTAR, LES DIEUX DU STADE" is an international Combined Events meeting that brings the world's best athletes (and many spectators) to Talence every year. Since September 4, 1976! In 2018, Kévin Mayer took his revenge on the European Championships in Berlin by setting a new decathlon world record. See you in September for the next edition!
