The city's oldest municipal museum, with permanent collections and numerous temporary exhibitions.

Founded in 1801, the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux is the city's oldest municipal museum, and over the years has become a major cultural player at regional, national and international level. The south wing is dedicated to collections from the 15th to the 18th centuries, while the north wing is devoted to the 19th and 20th centuries. The permanent collections offer a significant panorama of European art, and numerous temporary exhibitions are scheduled throughout the year.

Jolie collection. La visite est rapidement faite mais satisfaisante dans l'ensemble. La cour agrémentée de statue est très agréable.

Musée très sympathique à voir, avec une belle collection permanente. Il n'est certes pas très grand (divisé en 2 ailes) mais il n'en est pas moins intéressant et riche !
Des sortes de jeux de piste sont disponibles dans certaines salles afin de vous faire étudier plus en détail les tableaux !
