Museum with traditional costumes with silk and satin from the late and centuries

This Renaissance mansion, a model of Florentine architecture, with its interior courtyard dominated by a façade with loggias on four levels and mullioned windows, reproduces the façade of the Colosseum in Rome. It was built by a famous 16th century draper, Pedro Sacaze, a rich wool merchant, around 1540, and over the years the beautiful house was transformed into an exhibition space. Today, the Museum of the Industry embellishes it with 2 strong axes, the textile and the cabinet making. Berets, espadrilles, Basque linen and wool from the Pyrenees, but also traditional costumes with silks and satins from the end of the 18th and 19th centuries await you.
