Stefan welcomes you to this typically French restaurant. A real bistro as we like them, for a change from Caribbean dishes and a taste of home. On the wall, a fresco alludes to Montmartre, a nostalgic wink from the tropics. The main French specialties are featured (boeuf bourguignon, calamari à la provençale, onion soup...), as well as typical regional dishes. The main speciality is baked steak with Tofailles potatoes from the Vosges. Excellent wine list.

Jack Sprat is an institution run by Sally and her son, owners of the eponymous hotel. The bar-restaurant spreads out its terrace with tables installed in the middle of the trees. Inside, beautiful posters and reggae vinyl sleeves adorn the walls. Outside, under the neon lights and the stars, in a cool and fun atmosphere, the bar invites you to sip some well balanced house cocktails. A small store sells T-shirts and records, while in the evening you can let yourself be lulled by the sound of the waves in front of a wood fire or take advantage of the movie Thursdays.

It was the location of the famous film Fresa y Chocolate, directed in 1993 by the Cuban director Gutierrez Alea, and since 1996 it has been one of the best paladaresin the city, located on the third floor of this beautiful, old palace with a slightly surreal atmosphere. Don't miss the many photos of celebrities who have dined there: Mick Jagger, Madonna and Sting... On the plate, nuevo cuban at : a traditional Cuban cuisine"exoticized" by a touch of new French, Spanish, Mexican cuisine... Unique !

The restaurant-club offers, with its nice decor of wood and coral stones, a very pleasant beach club atmosphere. The wooden pontoon is decorated with deckchairs and a bar with access to the sea. The decor is idyllic in this establishment on stilts, the food is good and the atmosphere always pleasant. Good for lunch and dinner. You can enjoy mainly seafood specialities in a romantic setting. We recommend thecanoa de mariscos, seafood au gratin with mozzarella and presented in a half pineapple.

Here, we eat in the open air in a large house typical of the Dominican countryside, served by boys in campesino costume. On the entertainment side, Dominican dance and song shows will liven up your meal from appetizer to dessert! This restaurant, originally one of the favorites of the Dominicans, has become a very touristy place. The very copious buffet lunch formula allows you to taste all the Dominican specialities. It remains an excellent address to discover the Dominican cuisine and music of the Cibao.

Because the cocoa bean, unsweetened at the beginning, can be used for any kind of recipes. Located on an old cocoa plantation, with a terrace where you embrace with a single glance the imposing silhouette of the Petit Piton, the site, the menu and the service of the Boucan are simply perfect. Start your meal with a chocolate gazpacho, for the main course, you can choose between the spinach lasagna accompanied by a salad with cocoa vinaigrette or the red mullet marinated with cocoa and as dessert, the Saint Lucia chocolate tart, a floating Piton (meringue accompanied by a hot chocolate sauce) or the unmissable chocolate mousse as you never tasted before. In the lush garden surrounding the pool, you can eat at one of the best tables in the area. Pasta, fish or lobster... everything is fresh and well prepared! On the menu: grouper en papillote with passion fruit, fillet of sea bream with vanilla, fish soup, steak tartare, fish cooked a la plancha... the dishes are neat and delicious. A beautiful wine list. A pleasant paladar installed in a colonial house. There are two rooms, one of which is air-conditioned and decorated in a design style, with a pleasant cocktail bar. The restaurant has just been enlarged which makes it even more pleasant and a smoking area has even been set up in the patio. The cuisine served is typically Cuban with a wide selection of seafood. Located near the sea and in the heart of a fishing village, the Saona Café is a small bistro of straw hut type held by a couple of Quebecers who will receive you like at home. It is the meeting place of tourists, locals and workers of the tourist industry: perfect to have the good information when arriving in Bayahibe! They serve you in French, English and Spanish. From breakfast to burgers, including lionfish, the house specialty! Good local beer, on draft. Service at the bar.

Farid welcomes you with warmth to the Keya restaurant located directly on the Souffleur beach. On the program, specialties such as excellent lobsters, cicadas (with thinner flesh and more rarely present on the restaurant menus), lambi fricassee, the famous coconut flan, cocktails with or without alcohol... to be enjoyed with your feet in the sand or on the terrace deck. The establishment offers sunbathing on the beach, which is furnished with recycled furniture (seats and tables) made from pallets.
