This village in South Tyrol boasts a pretty little 18th-century Baroque church with a pointed spire, reflecting the region's Austrian architectural influence, as well as a number of hotels and restaurants in traditional mountain style.It is the ideal base for exploring the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park (Naturpark Fanes-Sennes-Prags in German) on the eastern side, to which it is the gateway, and the Puez-Odle Nature Park (Naturpark Puez-Geisler) on the western side. In winter, the village is the main base for the Corones-Kronplatz ski area, with a large number of hotels and access to ski lifts.
