Travel Guide Misurina

The village of Misurina nestles on the shores of the lake of the same name at an altitude of 1,700 metres, between Mount Cristallo and the Tre Cimes Park. It can be reached from Cortina d'Ampezzo via the Gere Pass, the hub of the massif's alpine ski network, and via Carbonin Schluderbach on the road that connects Fiames to Dobbiaco. This village is famous for its thermal waters, which are used in a health resort to treat asthma and respiratory diseases, the Istituto Pio XII.We recommend the hike from Misurina to the Vallon dei Castrati. which passes through the Alta pass (1,984 m) and the Bosi refuge (2,205 m), with a view of the superb profile of the Tre Cime massif
