With a population of 1,400, La Valle is a small village near San Martino di Badia. In fact, the village has existed since the 13th century: the oldest agricultural farm in Tolpei and the ancient church of San Genesio (of which only a bell tower remains) appear in medieval writings. Don't miss the tiny church of Santa Barbara, which worships Saint Barbara, patron saint of miners and mountain people, and Saint Florian, protector of fire. It was inaugurated in 1490 in a characteristic Romanesque style. The village is a starting point for walks in the Fanes-Senes-Braies and Puez-Odle parks.
