Religious art enthusiasts will gladly make a short detour to this Zapotec village to see the Templo y Ex-Convento de San Jerónimo, built in the 16th century. They jealously preserve baroque altarpieces that stand out for the detail of their decoration. Between the walls painted with floral motifs and the ancient chequered floor stands a magnificent organ, built around 1730 and decorated with angels, musicians and floral motifs. A long process of restoration has brought it back to life. There is also a small community museum with some archaeological finds from the area.
