Pechpeyroux is a commune in the Quercy Blanc region and is attached to Cézac with two other hamlets: Belcastel and Marot. Pechpeyroux, meaning "stony puy", was once developed around a castle built in 1245 and destroyed in the 15th century during the war between Armagnacs and Burgundians. But the history of this area is much older, as evidenced by the remains of Gallo-Roman villas in the vicinity, at Villelongue and Régagnac. To see: Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens church, the panorama on the Quercy Blanc from the Truque de Bourdille where once existed a motte castrale, the Saint-Cléments de Cézac church in Marot and the Saint-Martin-de-Cézac church in Cézac.
