When you arrive by boat at the pier of Preko (Ugljan Island), the islet of Galevac (on the port side!) attracts your attention. Once at the dock, to get there, you have to go to the new marina, where owners of small boats are rotating. They take you to the islet and bring you back to Preko at the agreed time for €1.30. It is also possible to stay at the monastery of St. Paul (by reservation only). Thus, you can take the time to visit it, but also to walk around the islet (2 km), to admire the monks' vegetable garden, to rest on the rocks, to picnic, to bathe and to meditate in this soothing nature.
