The fortress Saint-Michel (Sv. Mihovil), built in the thirteenth century by the Venetians, always monitors the main port of Preko, charged with history. With beautiful old buildings, he has been active since Roman times. Today, concrete wins a bit but the environment does not suffer too much. Ferries rotate with Zadar several times a day and deposit their waves of visitors. Peaceful sea walks to take towards Poljana, Sutomišciča, Lukoran and Uglan-Centar on the south-east side towards Kali, Kukljica or, by boat, to the island of Galovac, right across the street.
