South of Mlini, the village was once famous for the exploitation of its salt, one of the local natural riches. In winter, the wind swells the sea and the waves deposit salt water in the hollow of the cliffs. This water evaporates under the action of the sun and erosion, leaving a fine white deposit. This salt flower is still harvested by hand today. As far as tourism is concerned, holidaymakers will find villas and apartments with terraces and a splendid view over the bay. They can go down to the pebble beach by very steep paths crossing the hill and the pine forest with its lush Mediterranean nature. Some good restaurants
