The Cardada mountain, also known as the "pearl of Lake Maggiore", offers breathtaking views of Lake Maggiore and the entire Locarnese region from its summit (1,340 m). Continuing even higher, at an altitude of 1,670 m, you reach Cimetta. From here, you can admire the two extremes of Switzerland: the lowest point, the water mirror of Lake Maggiore, and the highest point, the Dufour peak. Beyond its grandiose vistas, the mountain is also an excellent starting point for discovering the region's valleys and forests. With its signposted trails, the site offers a variety of itineraries suitable for all levels.
