You arrive at the edge of the high plateau, where a small train with reduced gauge, curve after curve, will lead you to Collalbo. Many trails are marked for walkers. One of the most interesting is that which leads to the land pyramids of Longostano. These "fungi" are also found in Soprabolzano and Auna. A slope-free trail allows access to these sometimes high metre tall clay cones and surmounted by a rock that preserves them from rainwater erosion. The climb towards the Corno del Renon, the highest peak, is more delicate but allows to enjoy one of the most beautiful panoramas of the entire South Tyrol region.
