The road then runs along Upper Lake and crosses a forest of exuberant density to Ladies View (named after Queen Victoria's honour of honour particularly appreciated), which slightly dominates the Upper Lake meanders in stream theory in the forested mountains. The next view, Moll's Gap, at 260 metres, offers a different but no less seductive vision.
