This small village of barely 80 inhabitants is a real favorite. Low dry stone walls enclose the only road leading to the heart of this hamlet frozen in time. Gathered around its small church with a white bell tower surmounted by a modest wooden cross (built in 1835), a few very well maintained houses here and there, the good smell of cut hay in some places, a small waterfall, fields around and off, at the entrance of the fjord, a movie set: two mountainous islands with very original shapes appear: Tindholmur (262 m high) and Gashomur which deserve their nickname "the Giant and the Witch" near Eiði... It's i-dy-lli-que!
