A beautiful village to discover absolutely! You can reach it by the road (dead end) red bus n° 6 during the week - bus n° 8 during the week-end from Tórshavn (Steinatún stop - in front of the OT). You can also get there from the mountain by two marked paths. You just have to leave Tórshavn to the west by Landavegur (allow 2 hours on foot). Climbing through the streams, the path will lead you through the meadows to the heights, with a superb view of Hestur Island and its farms. The walk is not difficult. The arrival is a little more steep, and suddenly, against the background of the sea: a small white church near the shore, big black houses with red windows, a stone church without roof or bell tower.
