To the northwest of Tanah Lot, a few kilometers as the crow flies, Yeh Gangga is a small resort on the coast, east of Perean, which literally means "the waters of the Ganges". The coast here has black sand beaches and the currents are extremely strong. Only a few surfers, sometimes unconscious, venture out. Otherwise, only fishermen brave the tide. Their colored outrigger canoes rest on the beach. Nevertheless, it is very pleasant to settle on the beach, at sunset time and the famous golden hour, and to admire the coming and going of the waves with their relaxing sounds.
