We come here to discover the palace of Kerambitan became in the nineteenth century a royal branch of Tabanan. One of the princes transformed his palace into a hotel or rather a guest house. Today, the village is mainly occupied by the royal family whose descendants maintain the way of life. At the Kerambitan palace, a special purification ceremony is held every year before the nyepi (tektekan) and every 5 years, a procession comes from the Pura Luhur Batukau temple to the sea with hundreds of young people carrying the temple objects. In front of the entrance of Puri Anyar, a pavilion houses a gamelan famous for its beauty.
