Batubulan is a village known all over the world for its sculptures and barong performances with "trances". Every day, dozens of busloads of visitors come to attend. The dances start at 9:30 and 10:30. There are three troupes of dancers who tirelessly mimic the trance every day for thousands of pictures taken. Kecak (fire dance) performances take place at the end of the day. The other particularity of Batubulan, it is the sculptures on stone (volcanic) which are worked there each day by its craftsmen since centuries. The works represent mostly demons or gods
