Heading south, 2 km south of Thira. The island is welcoming more and more tourists - too many, no doubt - and its capital is no longer able to develop its hotel offer. But you have to be able to sleep somewhere! Like Firofestani to the north, this small, quiet and pleasant village is a good alternative for accommodation. Admittedly, rates are more attractive if you're prepared to walk (a little) to enjoy Thira's attractions. There are advantages, but no real charm. In summer, you'll also need to be doubly vigilant: most hotels are often filled by tour operators in high season.
