The village, practically glued to Appolonia, is well worth a visit. The most beautiful houses on the island belong to shipowning families. You can take a beautiful walk to Poulati, a wildly beautiful cove of craggy rocks, popular with naturists (approx. 4 km). Artemonas is particularly beautiful in the early morning, when the village awakens in the light of dawn. At night, it's like wandering in a dream among neoclassical villas and hidden gardens. An artistic community gathers here several months a year, adding a special atmosphere to this unspoilt gem.
