On a plateau 112 meters above sea level, stands this typical rural Istrian village, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. It enjoys a magnificent view. On a clear day, some people say they have seen... St. Mark's cathedral in Venice! Just next door, the village of Vabriga, also very bucolic, which is administratively associated with Tar. To see: the church of St. Anthony and Vabriga, which houses two paintings by Zorzi Ventura (1602) and the 13th century bell tower. Between the two villages there are two bays, Tarska and Lunga and, on the peninsula, the lighthouse Rt Zub (1872), surrounded by vegetation and beaches, which can be rented.
