This peaceful town is situated on the banks of the river of the same name and is surrounded by green hills. Here you can admire the medieval fortifications of the King of Zeta, Ivan Crnojević, the house built in 1810 by Prince-Bishop Petar I, and the stone bridge erected in the middle of the village by Danilo I in 1853. Appreciated by the royal court, because of its temperate climate, the village became the "holiday resort" of Prince-Bishop Petar I. In 1810, he had a house built here, a residence still visible today (Kuća Svetog Petra), which is the oldest preserved building in the village. In the vicinity is a river paved with water lilies.
