On the road to Dwejra Point, this village of less than 700 inhabitants (the second most sparsely populated village on the island) is not lacking in charm as it has retained its traditional and rural way of life. It is built on a plain surrounded by three hills, Għammar, Gelmus and Ta 'Dbieġi. Rising 195 meters above sea level, the latter is the highest point in Gozo. Its name is derived from Lawrence of Rome, the patron saint of the village, to whom an old 16th century chapel is dedicated. Take advantage of your visit to this place to visit Gozo Glass, an artisan glass factory to watch the work of the glass blowers
