With around 500 inhabitants, it is Gozo's smallest village after San Lawrenz. Situated between the Zebbug and Ghammar hills, it is dominated by the Gurdan hill. After climbing a steep path to the top of this hill, you'll reach a lighthouse, inaugurated in 1853, whose beam can be seen for up to 50 km, and enjoy beautiful 360-degree views over Gozo. This charming village also leads to the beautiful Wied il-Gharsi valley, dotted with many typical farms and ending at the sea. Here you'll find a secluded cove wedged between two cliffs, ideal for swimming and diving.
