Munxar, which means "log saw", overlooks the bay of Xlendi and offers a beautiful view of the sea and pleasant walks. It is the newest parish on the island and shows some fine examples of what Maltese houses look like today. Its church is dedicated to Saint Paul the shipwrecked. There is a small supermarket here, which may well help you out if you pass through the village on a walk in the area. For refreshment, there is a small bar/local also. There are public toilets right next to the bus station, and a children's park that will stay lively until late to enjoy the cool evening.
