Travel Guide Wardija

On the way from Saint Paul's Bay to Burmarrad, you will pass through Wardija along roads that are sometimes damaged. Due to its location, one of the highest points on the island, Wardija offers beautiful views towards the coast. You will notice its numerous churches and chapels, but also its great concentration of residential palaces with pleasant gardens: the Palazzo Promontorio, as its name suggests, very elegant and a little medieval, and the Palazzo Buzietta, more baroque and 19th century in style. The Castello dei Baroni was once the property of the great masters and now houses a diplomatic mission.
