Hulhule is entirely occupied by Velana International Airport and the HIH Hotel and is of little tourist interest. With one exception, however, the HIH hotel bar and pool are visited by expatriates who come to party in the evenings and on weekends (Friday/Saturday) as they serve alcohol and can wear bikinis, which is not the case in Malé. Other than waiting for a plane or boat transfer to your resort, there is no point in staying here. There are fast food outlets and cafes in the terminal building and opposite the domestic flight terminal.
