Hala is the name of a very hardwood tree which gives its name to the island. Measuring approximately 300 meters x 150 meters, the D-shaped island is surrounded by a golden beach extended at both ends by two tongues of silky sand that sink into a beautiful and huge lagoon forming a vast natural pool in its center. Unfortunately, the island suffers from erosion and the beach is protected by concrete blocks, which spoils the pleasure of swimming a little. On the other hand, the lagoon is suitable for nice outings in PMT. The island hosts a 5-star resort, the Constance, which has created a unique and luxurious atmosphere.
