This tiny island of about 230 m x 80 m belongs to the same owner as Nakai Alimatha. It is one of the only 3 resort islands in Vaavu. The island has a strange shape, which resembles that of the impressive whale shark. A long tongue of sand gently sinks into the lagoon forming a long tail. The island suffers a lot from erosion and concrete dykes try to contain the sand on the beach. Therefore, it is impossible to walk around the island. On the other hand, the island is one of the top places for diving in the Maldives and you have to be there early to hope to get a room.
