The island is medium in size (700 meters x 300 meters) and is covered with lush but well-kept tropical vegetation, with a charming beach and a lagoon suitable for swimming. The reef is no more than 40 meters from the beach, ideal for snorkeling and diving. However, it is recommended to be careful of the currents which, due to the location of the island on the edge of the channel separating North and South Malé, are strong and drifting. Embudu Village is an interesting island in the Maldives for those on a tight budget. Without any luxury or services, the resort offers the necessary for a postcard stay.
