This magnificent island of 6 km in circumference with jagged contours has managed to preserve its natural character and its intact vegetation after more than 20 years of exploitation. It is actually two islets barely separated by a channel. The island is so large that the very luxurious One & Only group, which manages it, has even set up a beach for its staff and there are 11 others for the residents. The island is very built up on its shoreline, with many villas built along the beach and a few on stilts, set in a fan pattern. All villas overlook the azure lagoon and have direct access to the beach or the sea. The sand is carefully combed every morning and the island has a perfectly clean face, almost too good to be true.
