In this tiny village of Salles-Arbuissonas-en-Beaujolais, nestles a pure marvel: a cloister and a church of the 12th century, as well as a chapter of the 18th century. Originally, the village of Salles developed around a Benedictine priory dependent on Cluny, founded in the 10th century, which became a monastery for women in the 14th century. Temporary exhibitions and guided tours in summer. Outside of this period, a simple stroll in the cloister or in the park in front of the chapter house is already a treat. Arbuissonnas has a charming church enclosed within a former priory dependent on the Abbey of Ainay.
