DOMAINE DU CRET DU RIS
Located in the village of Salles-Arbuissonas-en-Beaujolais, the vineyard occupies 7 ha Winegrowers from father to son for four generations. Texier wines are produced from local traditions in harmony with history and tourism. After a traditional Beaujolais vinification (whole grapes not crushed), the wines are aged in oak tuns in an old 200-year-old vaulted cellar. In a warm atmosphere, you can taste the Beaujolais Nouveau, from the vines on Blacé, the Beaujolais-villages, vines located on the steep slopes of Salles, the average age of the vines 40 years, the Beaujolais from 60-year-old vines, some of which are over 80 years old, and more recently, the Beaujolais Blanc. For groups, the owners offer explanations on winemaking and wines, a tasting of Beaujolais-villages and mâchon in the vaulted cellar with candles before leaving for the visit of the cloister and the 12th century church of the village. A beautiful alliance between oenology and heritage!
