It's a beautiful little town, famous for its Monday morning calf market and its festive customs, such as that of the conscripts. From the age of 17, the young men of the town sing in May, organize "les gaufres" between Christmas and New Year's Day, and the vogue for July 14th. Every April, the decades (10 years, 20 years...) parade in waves through the streets. Other customs, this time gastronomic, are linked to agricultural traditions: pâté de la batteuse (a fruit turnover), calf's head, tripe and black pudding. The Château du Chamousset is open to visitors in summer.
