The village retains some vestiges of its medieval fortifications (perimeter of the doors east and west) and two coats of arms of Guillaume de Gadagne, lord of Meys at the end of the th century (one above the doorway of the presbytery and the other in a wall opposite the church). At the entrance to the village, proudly stands the legendary Motte de la Motte, which young people are invited to riquer (touch their head) if they want to marry in the year. For 30 years on the last Sunday in August, La Fête de la Combine revivre a day of work in the countryside.
