The village preserves some vestiges of its medieval fortifications (pedestals of the east and west gates) as well as two coats of arms of Guillaume de Gadagne, Lord of Meys at the end of the 16th century (one above the door of the presbytery and the other in a wall opposite the church). At the entrance of the village, stands proudly the legendary Puits de la Motte, which young people are invited to risk (touch their heads) if they want to get married within the year. For 30 years now, the last Sunday in August, the Fête de la Batteuse has revived a day of work in the countryside.
