18 km east of Nyons, Sainte-Jalle (300 inhabitants) is a typical Provencal village, nestled in the middle of lavender and apricot fields, lime trees and vineyards, with its avenue of plane trees, its café terraces, its petanque players, its covered wash house. The medieval part, on its crest, is full of charm. The houses have been restored and many of them have been converted into guest rooms. A swimming pool, an open-air theatre and a good table are a delight for holidaymakers. A farmers' market takes place every Friday evening under the plane tree avenue. Lovers of good organic wines come regularly to visit the cellars.
