Its location, close to Valence and Romans, but not far from the Vercors and the Drôme provençale, makes this commune attractive to residents and tourists alike. It's a great place to live, and Montmeyran retains a dynamic agriculture based on livestock breeding and a variety of crops, enabling us to fill our baskets with excellent produce, much of it organic (more than a quarter of our farmland is organic). In the 19thcentury , Montmeyran was the site of a very important horse market. Attractions: hilltop viewpoints (serre de Meyran), remains of the medieval castle and Vierge du vœu, a sculpture in the park's ancient cedar-lyre tree.
