If there is anything in Saint-Marcel d'Ardèche that requires special attention, it is undoubtedly its intramural fountains: the Soubeyran fountain was designed to water animals, a round basin and a decorated pedestal. The other, the Ponteil fountain and washhouse, houses a 10-metre by 4-metre covered pool at the back of the fountain itself. A pretty little heritage that gives character to the village. Church, chapel and castle bear witness to local history, as do these sculpted heads that can be discovered on some façades while walking through the streets.
