Between the Rhône and the Durance, what strikes you is the bucolic charm of this small town of 5,000 souls, hardly rich in cultural vestiges, but which is drowned in the middle of hills of pine, olive and cypress trees. However, don't miss a visit to the Saint-Michel-de-Frigolet abbey or the two local museums: the Aromas and Perfume museum and the Auguste-Chabaud museum, named after this painter who was close to Matisse and Derain. Another event not to be missed if you are in the region at the end of July: the Saint Éloi festival with its famous cart race, its bullfighting shows and its unmissable pétanque competition.
