Village with typical Provencal charm, whose streets and squares are decorated with numerous fountains. Wedged between Crau and Alpilles, Eyguières preserves vestiges and monuments of all the great historical periods. The abundance of water has given it its name. To see: the chapel Sainte-Vérédème, pre-Romanesque (10th century), Saint-Pierre-de-Vence (11th century), the columnar washhouse (mid-19th century), the fountain of the Shell (18th century), the Cocotte fountain (Renaissance, classified as a historical monument) and the ruins of the castellas of Roquemartine.
