This small rural commune on the Hirson/Charleville-Mézières axis owes its fame to the birth of illustrious aviator Jean Mermoz. Once a town with a flourishing cloth industry, its countryside is now devoted to livestock farming. You'll discover its church, its listed organ (1735) and its 13th-century Romanesque portal, the Tour de Chimay, a former 13th-century watchtower transformed into a country gîte, and the Vieux Manoir, former hunting lodge of the Prince de Condé. In October, the regionally renowned Autumn Fair takes over the village streets. It's a great opportunity to discover the village!
