JEAN MERMOZ MUSEUM
Museum
Recommended
It's in the native village of Jean Mermoz, that you will discover the crazy adventure of the first aviator to run the France-South America crossing in 1930. Located just opposite the pilot's family house, the museum offers many personal objects in situation: medals, models and letters. Disappeared on December 7, 1936 above the South Atlantic, Jean Mermoz is reborn through photographs, newspapers and posters that content his incredible destiny. Note, aviator is regularly celebrated in the village.
