The village has a vineyard classified as Grand Cru 100%, that is to say 400 hectares planted essentially with Chardonnay. It is a very old village which owes its name to Oger the Dane. In the 14th century, this man owned a castle located here, and the current village was its outbuildings. Today, this charming village can be visited through two routes, flowery or historical. It is also home to the amazing museum of traditions, love and champagne dedicated to the popular tradition of marriage in the 19th century. To the west of the village, in the forest of Oger, the national nature reserve of the pâtis d'Oger and Mesnil-sur-Oger is worth a visit
